Earlier This Month, Florida Georgia Line Gave Their First Live Performance In Four Years

Fans of Florida Georgia Line are feeling optimistic about a possible reunion. Even their friend Jason Aldean has high hopes that the duo will come back together for good.

On March 19, Florida Georgia Line members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley performed Aldean’s “You Make It Easy” during a surprise party in Nashville celebrating the country star’s 31 chart-topping hits.

It was a big moment for fans, because it had been so long since we last saw them together.

FGL announced their hiatus in February 2022, and rumors of a feud made it seem unlikely they’d ever consider rekindling their friendship. Since then, both have been focused on their solo careers.

But in 2025, things between them seemed to be improving. Hubbard and Kelley were seen posing together for photos at the CMA Awards.

Later, Hubbard shared pictures of them with their wives, all smiling and looking like friends again.

Jason Aldean “Definitely” Thinks FGL Will Get Back Together

Jason Aldean and FGL go way back. They’ve worked together over the years, so he knows both Hubbard and Kelley pretty well. That’s why he’s very certain they’ll eventually come back together.

On a recent episode of the Try That in a Small Town podcast, Aldean was asked if a FGL reunion was possible, and he absolutely thinks so.

“Oh yeah, definitely. It’s coming,” he said. “I would assume there’s probably going to be a record at some point. I feel like they’re getting there.”

Aldean mentioned that Hubbard and Kelley have had a “few weird years,” but he believes they can overcome that to make music together again eventually.

“I think they’re too good to not do that,” he added, pointing out that he thinks the “smart move” would be for them to reunite as a duo again.

“You’re never going to be as big apart as you would together,” Aldean continued. “They were too big an act as a duo to ever accomplish that same thing on their own… And I think they truly enjoy being together and making music together and all those things.”
